Concept Artist

Are you an experienced concept artist and do you enjoy playing video games? Are you passionate about creating beautiful concept art and shaping the art & design of new games? And do you love the idea of bringing serious games to life? Then read on!

Who are we?

TRAINING.GAME offers a mobile learning platform and game-based learning projects to train staff from various companies in a fun and engaging way. Our clients include MediaMarkt Saturn, Samsung, Apple and Google. We’re looking for a concept artist to bring our new game-based learning projects to life.

What will you do?

Together with our team you will work on new game-based learning projects.  You will be responsible for creating concept art for our games, which will help guide our vision of our game-based learning projects to the next level.

  • You’ll put all your creative skills and technical expertise to the test.
  • You’ll work on the overall art direction of our games, as well as commercial art for marketing purposes.
  • You’ll make the story come alive, using your creative own vision and a semi-realistic art style. 
  • You’ll work to make sure your art is a good fit for the target demographic. 
  • You’ll create art for our blog posts about our game projects.
  • You’ll plan, execute, evaluate and document your work on a regular basis.

What do you offer?

  • You have artistic talent, you are the kind of artist that can create and share your work in an inspiring way, making us see your vision.
  • You have experience as a concept artist in game art in 2D and 3D.
  • You have a good understanding of marketing and how your art connects to it.
  • Additional expertise in animation is very welcome.
  • You’re passionate about games and are familiar with the industry. 
  • You have at least five years of experience in game art.
  • You’re willing to do research to improve your skills and to create engaging content for various different kinds of games.
  • You're a team player. You need to collaborate with other team members, so you’ll need to be able to work effectively with them.
  • You go for quality, but you make sure to meet deadlines and keep pace. 
  • If you’re familiar with Unity then that’s a plus too.
  • You enjoy working for a scale-up, you feel at home in a professional but informal company culture.
  • You have a good sense of humor. Or at least you think you do.
